Meet Brooke

PHOTOGRAPHER, MOTHER & GRAB-THIS-ONE-PRECIOUS-LIFE-BY-THE-HORNS KIND OF ADVENTURE SEEKER... 

Instilled with her late father’s thirst for adventure and love of the water, Brooke Darling is a travel and lifestyle photographer based on the sunny Gold Coast, Australia. 

 

For five years Brooke lived on a sailing boat — first her father’s, and then later her own with her young family. Living in remote bays across both the Mediterranean and Caribbean, with an epic three-week Atlantic Ocean crossing between, it’s an existence strung to the ebbs and flows of the weather, seasons and wherever the wind and the next alluring mark on the map would carry her.

While plans are always written in the sand at low tide, they’ve allowed her to access hard-to-reach locales, angles and light; or otherwise passing through popular destinations long after the crowds have moved on.

Having stepped foot on more than 50 of its islands, she cites Greece as her favourite among the 55+ countries she’s travelled to. An expression of both Brooke's sailing adventures and coastal life moments captured in Australia, when adorning your walls at home, her travel prints will brighten your mood and inspire your holiday escapism.
